The Record Store Room first opened in Setagaya, Tokyo. It later relocated to a traditional kura warehouse in Hakodate in 2021, and in April 2024 established a new atelier in Honcho. Known for its highly original and distinctive selections.

With over 40,000 CDs and records on display at all times, this shop offers a wide selection spanning J-Pop, rock, metal, jazz, classical, and dance music. They also warmly welcome items for purchase.
