Neat Records, a used record and CD shop, opened in June 2005 in front of Kamegaike at Morioka Castle Site Park in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture. The store offers music from all genres, including rock, jazz, classical, Japanese music, and club DJ tracks.

The Record Store Room first opened in Setagaya, Tokyo. It later relocated to a traditional kura warehouse in Hakodate in 2021, and in April 2024 established a new atelier in Honcho. Known for its highly original and distinctive selections.

After working at a record shop while moving between Hokkaido, Okinawa, Tokyo, and back to Hokkaido, the owner opened Tonotopica, a free-spirited record-focused shop shaped by a journey across time and place.
